Well Seasoned Maturity
Genesis 46:28-34, 47:1-12
- Seasoned to provide
A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. (Proverbs 13:22)
- Seasoned to appreciate
Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness. (Psalm 107:8-9)
- Seasoned to minister insight
And this I pray, that you love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ. (Philippians 1:9-10)
- Seasoned to receive council
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy ONe is understanding. (Proverbs 9:9-10)
- Seasoned to trust
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart gladly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. (Psalm 28:7)
- Seasoned to serve
"For even I, the Son of man, came here not to be serve but to serve others, and to give my life as a ransom for many."
